Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zayed Saqr Al Nahyan

Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zayed Saqr Al Nahyan, a visionary in the region, possess higher motives and interest to set up higher-quality education facilities especially in the domain of modern engineering-related studies along with entrepreneurship and social education, to upgrade the awareness and knowledge that makes a real difference in lives of individuals.
 

Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zayed Saqr Al Nahyan always believed that "True development starts from home. This is the place you know best and the people with whom you share your life" and his desire has compelled him to take up a step forward to contribute further to the region's need for the best higher education facilities to cope up with the future demands in the region.

Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zayed Saqr Al Nahyan is an influential personality having wide contacts and has served as Director for Europe and Americas in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UAE from 1985-89. He further served as Ambassador of UAE to USA from 1989-92 followed by Ambassador of UAE to Spain from 1992-95. During his diplomatic career with his first-hand experience and knowledge, he realized the impact of a strong education in sciences, on improving the development potential of a nation. During his tenure as the UAE Ambassador to the USA and Spain during the 1990s, he was associated with a few universities, where he was part of the teaching faculties and had a strong desire to set up better and higher college educational facilities in the region
